Recognized as an industry pioneer for over seven decades, the Electronic Engineering Company of California, EECO, is one of the earliest electronics manufacturing companies to exist in that region. One of the major innovators in binary-coded switches, it is credited with introducing the patented STRIPSWITCH, and Micro-DIP printed circuit-board mounted coded switches.
