Labeda was the first firm to commercialize urethane skate wheels for hockey players by hockey players, from concept through final design and manufacture, and every aspect in between. Because they collaborated with BF Goodrich, the business has developed the first urethane integrated core to form a chemical relationship between the core and the outside urethane layer. It is also the first to use flex technology in hockey wheels for improved grip, giving the players safety and comfort while playing.
