Slingbox
Slingbox TV streaming media devices compress local video for transmission to a remote device via the Internet, a place-shifting process. Users may stream them all through a single interface and watch them on their phones, tablet, desktops, and other TVs, as well as remotely see and operate their cable, satellite, or digital video recorder (DVR), which WiFi or Ethernet may connect with no monthly expenses. All Slingboxes were discontinued two years ago, although the servers are still available to existing users until November 2022.
