Tom's of Maine was founded in the year 1970 by Kate and Tom Chappel. They decided to give birth to a brand that uses natural ingredients in healthcare products after being displeased with artificial ingredients in personal care products during those days. In 1975, they introduced their first natural toothpaste in the US. Their product range includes oral care products, bath and body products, deodorants, and antiperspirants. They are an environment-friendly brand that introduced first-of-its-kind recyclable toothpaste tubes, and their 10% of annual profits are donated to non-profit organizations.
