Emma Bridgewater, the famous contemporary ceramic brand, was founded in 1984. Each design begins with a strongly felt emotional reaction to what we adore about the world around us. We think that ordinary kitchen china is at the center of our lives and that each cup, bowl, jug, and plate carries our tales, reflecting shared events and enriching us as we eat and drink together. We've stayed faithful to the spirit of that initial, inspiring moment throughout the previous three decades: the importance of getting the concept and design precisely correct.
