Hawkins Cookers Limited is one of the country's major pressure cooker producers. Hawkins has been a leader in the pressure cooker industry since 1957, and it continues developing and launching new products for its clients. Mr. L K Hawkins created it in 1959 with a headquarters in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. "Hawkins," India's first pressure cooker, was introduced by the firm. Since 1972, the firm has exported to more than 40 nations. Hawkins is a prominent manufacturer of domestic appliances, notably pressure cookers, and has established itself as a market leader.
