Stephen Zieminski, a retired mountain biking and track All-American found that many supplements included multiple chemicals with no nutritional value in 2014. People trying to lead a healthy life with the help of vitamins were being sold healthily, but they were being sold something else. Naked Nutrition was launched the same year by Zieminski, who began with five single-ingredient vitamins, such as the finest Naked Whey with pasture Californian cattle and Bare Peas from pure yellow peas cultivated in the United States and Canada.
